Netflix Christmas Movies 2020: The Best Festive Films 🎅

While Christmas may look a little different this year, we’re not going to let anything get in the way of our festive joy and excitement. So while it may still feel a little early for some, we at GLAMOUR HQ are officially on the Christmas countdown, and with that marks the beginning of sofa season (AKA our all-time favourite season). Hurrah!

That means it’s perfectly acceptable, if not encouraged, to stay in your PJs all day, eat Quality Street for lunch and enjoy back-to-back movie marathons. So, what should you be tuning into this year?

Unsurprisingly, Netflix has the best of the bunch with its offering of Netflix Originals Christmas movies. Last year, the streaming giant brought us brand new festive hits such as The Knight Before Christmas (starring Vanessa Hudgens as a science teacher whose all but given up on love – until she meats an actual knight) and Oscar-nominated animated movie Klaus, where postman Jesper discovers Santa Claus hiding out in a frozen town in the north.

The best new TV shows & movies on Netflix – including Mary-Kate and Ashley’s ‘New York Minute’!

And this year, Netflix’s offering of original Christmas content is even better. As well as the follow up to The Princess Switch, there’s the highly-anticipated Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey. Starring Forest Whitaker as legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle who enlists the help of his granddaughter to ‘heal old wounds and reawaken the magic within’. The star-studded cast also includes Keegan-Michael Key, Anika Noni Rose, Hugh Bonneville, Ricky Martin and John Legend (!!!).

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey drops on Netflix on Friday 13th November and we already in the Christmas spirit just thinking about it.

There’s a reason holiday rom-coms like The Knight Before Christmas are so satisfying
