Best beauty advent calendars for Christmas 2020 🎅
Christmas may seem like a long way off, but nothing gets us more excited for it than the prospect of opening up a coveted beauty item every day of December.
Beauty advent calendars are one of the most coveted Christmas items, with all the big brand names including Elemis, Lush, Charlotte Tilbury and even ASOS all getting involved in the action this 2020.
But with hundreds of pounds worth of savings available on each one, often the impressive discounts on the calendars are so good that they sell out within a day of launching.
To help you make your mind up, we’ve rounded up the best beauty calendars of the bunch and when they’ll be available to buy, so you can set your alarms and get in there early.
Best beauty advent calendars for 2020
1. ASOS beauty advent calendar
Â
Beauty advent calendars are so popular that even ASOS is doing one this year, having just announced the launch of their face and body advent calendar.
Costing ÂŁ70 and filled with ÂŁ300 worth of goodies, it’s filled with lots of big brand names including Clinique, Emma Hardie, The Ordinary and Nars and is already available on the ASOS website.
2. Lush
After years of begging from fans on social media, Lush is finally bringing out a Christmas advent calendar, filled with 24 full size Lush products – including a LOT of bath bombs.
However, there’s only 500 available, set to go on sale on Thursday 29th August, and costing a hefty ÂŁ195 each.
3. Holland & Barrett
An all-natural beauty advent calendar worth ÂŁ146, it costs just ÂŁ35 – pretty decent for 24 days of beauty products.
Going on sale on the 22nd September at Holland and Barrett, it comes filled with an array of skin and hair favourites that includes Weleda’s beauty cult favourite Skin Food, Ambience CBD Body Oil and Trilogy’s Mini Mist Toner.
4. Cult Beauty
Â
Â
Retailing at ÂŁ195, it may sound expensive but the products inside are worth a whopping ÂŁ680.
Behind the doors you’ll find the infamous Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, worth ÂŁ30, skincare saviour Dr Dennis Gross’ C+ Collagen Deep Cream, worth ÂŁ77, and Iconic London’s cult Illuminating Drops, worth ÂŁ30, and there’s even a voucher under door number 25…
5. Glossybox
(Image: Glossybox)
Worth over ÂŁ370, it costs just ÂŁ70, with 15 of the items being full-sized – rare for an advent calendar! Perhaps our favourite item of the lot is the Limited Edition Tarte Cosmetics highlighter and bronzer palette, normally worth ÂŁ40.
It goes on sale on September 27th, costing ÂŁ80 for non-Glossybox subscribers and ÂŁ70 for members.
6. Boots No7
Arguably the most famous advent calendar of them all, Boots has officially opened the waiting list for its No7 calendar, which reached almost 100,000 people last year and sold out within three day.

There’s no word on when exactly it will be released, but you can sign up for early access on their website.
14. L’Occitane
Rather than windows, L’Occitane has followed in the same direction as other upmarket beauty brands and gone for a drawer design.
